By the age of twenty one, Clay Kottler had earned his license as a real estate agent and used his newly found knowledge to buy his first home and investment property. He spent the next six years serving in the United States Air Force specializing as a Crew Chief on the U2 Reconnaissance aircraft for four years and as a Military Police Sergeant his last two years. During his time in the military, he lived and worked all over the world including Qatar, Italy, and Korea. He did not however, leave behind his original aspirations, often providing real estate advice to his military buddies.
Growing up in Green Hills, Clay’s deep Tennessee roots eventually brought him back to Nashville. Now a veteran, he has racked up impressive experience in almost every aspect of real estate. Former owner of a wood, concrete, and glass maintenance/ cleaning business, Clay has worked on hundreds of homes in the Nashville area. He has managed dozens of properties for the last ten years and performed maintenance and construction projects on many of those properties.
Clay brought his expertise to the Commonwealth team in 2005 as an affiliate broker.
